Sushi Masuda Reviews

Sushi Masuda Google Average Rating

Chef Masuda makes some awesome sushi dishes. The fish was a perfect temperature, the rice was the perfect chewiness, and the portions were very reasonable. The meal was a bit expensive (almost $350) but the quality of the seafood can't be beat. I sat at the counter, which was much better than sitting at one of their 3 tables in back. Getting a reservation also requires an act of God or a couple of months of preparation, so if you're too late, sign up for TableAll's emails and they'll send you notices of last minute cancellations.

It was a super small underground place with about six counter seats, but all you need is the delicious food. The sushis are among the best you can taste in Tokyo, and the dishes are exquisite. One if the chefs lived in the San Francisco Bay area for a couple if years so he can speak fluent English. This is a Michelin two Star restaurant, and I would recommend this place.

Amazing sushi restaurant but you do expect Masuda need to be good as they are charging 28000 yen per person but overall great experience, chef was very friendly with no nonsense or being pretentious. i would give it a five stars but the Otoro was a bit disappointed and with a little tendon so its a bit chewy (happens all the time with otor but I wouldn’t expect to happen in here). Overall lovely sushi restaurant and I would highly recommend to give it a try, do make sure you book 3,4 weeks in advance.
