Sushi Misuji Description

Located 200 meters above ground, Sushi Misuji offers a luxurious dining experience with a breathtaking view. Specializing in authentic Edomae sushi, the restaurant's history dates back to 1855, where they adhere to traditional techniques such as using red vinegar made only with salt and sake lees for the sushi rice. Each piece of nigiri is meticulously crafted with a unique touch, like grilling the conger eel and marinating white fish in kelp to enhance flavors. This attention to detail results in the perfect harmony between the vinegared rice and fresh toppings, creating a truly authentic Edomae sushi experience.

One of the standout features of Sushi Misuji is their commitment to preserving the art of Edomae sushi from the Edo period, ensuring that each dish reflects the dedication and passion of the first-generation sushi chefs. The menu boasts exquisite courses like the Kagaribi Nigiri Course, Isoshigi Sushi Kaiseki, and Futo Sushi Kaiseki, all showcasing seasonal ingredients prepared with precision and presented beautifully. Guests can also enjoy a unique pairing of sushi with wine, adding a modern twist to the traditional dining experience. With stunning views of the city skyline and, on clear days, even Mount Fuji, Sushi Misuji provides a serene and elegant setting for a memorable dining experience.

Sushi Misuji Reviews

I had a sushi lunch at the counter. Although I couldn't enjoy the spectacle view (The counter faces not to outside) , the food was perfect. Every piece of sushi with fresh seafood and well-prepared (this is because of Edomae style). Especially the final piece Anago was one of the best Sushi in my life. It is a pricy but worth to visit for the people looking for real great sushi.

Initially turned away because it was ‘full’, I eventually got a seat. I had a 26k course, but it was average for the price.

Excellent and luxurious sushi restaurant. Sat by the Sushi bar and had the Omakase (Sushi Chef recommends what to eat). It was really amazing and what a great experience too. The Sushi chef Ishida-san was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to articulate and explain every single dish, even though hid english wasn’t perfect, he did a great job. I admired his and his colleagued abilities to make our dishes, it was like watching an art show live but where your food is being made and serve right away. There is another restaurant of this chain in Osaka and will definitely visit it. The food and service was so good that we forgot to take pictures. The place is in the 36F and have excellent views. All staff is welcoming and friendly. You will have a good and deserving night at this great Sushi restaurant.
