American tourist here. Our meal at sushi Miura was one of the top 5 meals of my life, not only for the food, but for the incredible hospitality we experienced while we were here.
Upon entering we informed the chef we did not speak Japanese and were given excellent assistance from his assistant who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made for some wonderful conversation throughout the meal.
We ordered sake and we’re allowed to pick from an array of pretty cups (small gesture, but fun). The sake was so much cheaper than we expected it to be considering the quality, and the chef provided excellent recommendations.
Despite the language barrier the chef provided us with such warmth and kindness that only added to the level of the cooking, which was insane.
As someone who is not knowledgeable about sushi or even particularly big on fish, I loved nearly every bite of the meal. The bonito in egg in particular, as well as the tuna, uni and mackerel were wonderful. The chef knows how to use citrus to make every fishy bite balanced.
Overall, the experience was once in a lifetime. I would have paid double.

Miura-san, who has a good-natured appearance, has a different look in his eyes when he holds the sushi or when he cuts it. Just like the Chinese character for ‘straightforwardness’ written on the back, I feel that an upright and consistent heart is put into all the cooking and service. It's underrated sushi because it doesn't seem to have gotten much word of mouth yet.
I enjoyed it so much!

The general became independent after working at Kikunoi and Hibiya Namba.
I'm moving from Azabu.
The store is located in the middle of Roppongi and Akasaka, and it is difficult to find the store when you first visit.
The general has a very mellow and friendly impression.

The course is
5 snacks

The soup stock also tastes like a careful work.
It's elegant and you won't get tired of eating it.

After that, move on to the nigiri, chopstick rest, and second half of the nigiri.
I'll move on.

You can feel the personality of the chef in the snacks and nigiri.
I loved the presentation and taste.

In the recent sushi boom, there are about 22,000 courses.
I feel that CP is also good.
Personally, this is a store that is on my favorite list and I would like to visit regularly.
