Sushi Miyakawa Description

Sushi Miyakawa stands as an epitome of excellence in the realm of sushi dining. This award-winning sushi restaurant in Sapporo, nestled in a quaint, beautifully adorned space, has received accolades not just for its exquisite offerings but also for its impeccable service.
For many, dining at Sushi Miyakawa ranks as one of the most remarkable sushi experiences. The freshest ingredients are meticulously prepared, and each dish stands as a testament to the chef's prowess. The nigiri rice, in particular, has been singled out by many for its impeccable texture and taste. Though it boasts a Michelin star, the pricing remains reasonable, providing value that surpasses expectation.
Guests laud Miyakawa for delivering one of the best sushi meals in Japan, with certain dishes like the abalone and akagai standing out. The establishment also finds favor with wine enthusiasts, courtesy of its choice of Zalto burg glasses.
The restaurant's repertoire extends beyond sushi. The prepared appetizers and cooked dishes also garner praise, with the abalone served with abalone liver sauce being particularly noteworthy. Concepts such as using various parts of a creature to enhance flavor showcase the chef's innovative approach.
In sum, Sushi Miyakawa is more than just a dining destination; it is an experience. If one has the opportunity to visit just one sushiya in Sapporo, many would recommend making it Sushi Miyakawa.

Translated from Japanese:
Fantastic sushi served in a small but beautiful space, along with excellent service. One of my best sushi experiences so far. Each and every dish was excellent, with the freshest ingredients, prepared wonderfully, and I can't praise the nigri rice enough - the texture and taste was simply perfect. As a Michelin starred restaurant, one can expect it to cost a bit, however it is very reasonable for what you get. There are only 6-8 seats so getting a booking is difficult, but if you can it is highly recommended!

One of my best sushi meal in Japan and rather unique too. Love the abalone n akagai. Best Zalto burg glasses for wines here. Thank you Miyakawa san

The numerous awards that this restaurant has won speak for themselves. Nothing I could say could approach doing this place justice. It is amazing. Staff is amazing. We booked through TableAll.
