An intimate counter-based omakase experience with the highest quality ingredients, thoughtful application of technique and damn good shari (vinegared rice)!!! The rice was perfectly suited for the many boldly flavoured, rich and fatty toppings, my favourite being the blue skinned fish and the Hokkaido bafun uni. The master blends 3 types of aged red and white vinegar, some as old as 10 years!

I was sad to receive the final piece, the tamago but I'm glad to have had the privilege of enjoying such a wonderful experience.

Total price, including 3 drinks was ¥37300!

My partner and I had the best meal of our lives here. Chef Nakano and his team are wonderful, very kind, friendly and understanding. They take the time to explain the dishes to you, and are communicating with you throughout the Omakase experience. A truly wonderful team who’ve worked very hard to bring excellent food to restaurant goers. The atmosphere was very intimate, and when dessert came I felt sad it was over. Time flew by so quickly and I know that should I visit Japan again, I would love to have the privilege to eat the food made by Chef Nakano and his team.

I can’t express enough how much I enjoyed it.

We had 4 people in the private room and had a chef all to ourselves. He was great! We asked him to choose 3 sakes for us though the course of the meal, and he adjusted the sushi to match. We got to try several interesting and uncommon things, like steamed nodoguro which was so delicate that we had to take it directly from his hand. It was like butter! The chef was super fun and laid back. It helped a lot to have a Japanese speaking friend to translate for us. When we asked if we can take pictures, his response was to pose dramatically. :)
