Sushi Onikai Kakeni Description
Located in the Toranomon Hills area of Tokyo, Sushi Onikai Kakeni offers a unique dining experience that blends traditional Edo-style sushi with innovative twists. Embracing the concept of kuzushi-zushi, this restaurant aims to provide a casual yet authentic sushi experience. What sets Sushi Onikai Kakeni apart is its collaboration with the Michelin-starred Tempura Miyashiro, offering hand-rolled sushi with tempura fillings like shrimp tempura wrapped in seaweed.
The restaurant's dedication to quality is evident in its meticulously curated omakase course, featuring seasonal ingredients carefully selected for each dish. A must-try is their signature dish, the ebi ten nori maki, which wraps tempura in a delicate combination of shari (sushi rice) and nori (seaweed). Complementing the exquisite cuisine is a thoughtfully crafted wine selection supervised by Sommelier Yoshihiro Nagase. Guests can enjoy this culinary journey in a special setting that allows them to savor both the food and the stunning views simultaneously. Sushi Onikai Kakeni is not just a place to eat; it's an experience that celebrates the artistry and creativity of Japanese cuisine.

Omakase.
Dinner lasted approximately 1hr30mins.
Food quality is out of this world! Words will not do justice to its quality. Go and experience it.
Book in advance via their website or DM the Chef. Our Chef speaks English and explained to us the ingredients thru out the night.
There’s option for drinks pairing for additional price; Alcoholic or Non-alcoholic.
We choose Non-alcoholic. Drinks served are in the photos. Each drink was paired with 3 different sushi.

鮨 おにかい×2.
Make vinegar rice with red vinegar.
The standard side dishes are served and then the okamase course begins.
Overall, the food quality is good and the performance is also good to see.
The interior has a cobalt blue interior, and Tokyo Tower is visible outside the window.
The clerks are friendly and the service is good.
This place is run by relatively young chefs and has a distinctly different feel from existing omakase.

4th floor = 2nd floor multiplied by 2, so it seems to be [Onikai x 2]. The bubbly interior overlooking Tokyo Tower has a chic interior with a blue theme. This is Charenty.
Actually, this is Onikai's first visit. The famous ``Shrimp Ten Nori Maki'' and the ``Tuna Maki'' with chunks of Oma's bluefin tuna...too luxurious... Today's recommended ``white tilefish'' was sticky and meaty, and the sea urchin was easy to put on my hands, so I had a happy time.
We also have non-alcoholic pairings that are great for non-alcoholic drinks. Even people who can't drink alcohol will enjoy the red and rosé from Aran Miliyah, which is famous for its super delicious grape juices🍷
This sushi with a view of Tokyo Tower, including non-alcoholic pairings, costs less than 15,000 yen per person...I'm a beginner in high-end sushi, but I can tell you it's a good value. [Sushi Onikai x 2] where the host's hospitality is outstanding and you can enjoy it from beginning to end.We recommend that all ladies and gentlemen try this.
