JR Nagoya Station Takashimaya basement

Suya's Kuri Kinton is more delicious than chestnuts.
I had mentioned it several times before, but it was my first time asking for it when I stopped by Nagoya.

Chestnut Kinton 6 pieces 1814 yen

Seasonally limited from September to January.
It's simple, elegant, and has a nice moist feel.
I ate it slowly, savoring the melting sensation in my mouth.

The expiration date is 5 days, so we recommend eating it up as soon as possible. Thank you for your delicious meal.

Looking at their website, it seems that they make a variety of Japanese sweets.

Suya-san is located on the 1st basement floor of JR Nagoya Takashimaya.

I heard from a friend in Gifu that it was delicious and sold out quickly, so I bought it here.

We lined up to enter Takashimaya, and when it opened, we went to Sokko's basement.

I got lost because the location was a little difficult to understand compared to the layout diagram.
Under the escalator, or rather behind it.

I found it right away, but there was no one there.
Suddenly, a line formed behind me.

◆6 pieces of chestnut kinton 1,750 yen (tax included)
◆6 pieces of walnut mochi 713 yen

Neither is sold separately.

Kurikinton is so delicious!
It feels less dry than I expected.
It uses sugar, but the sweetness is just right.
It also contains chopped chestnuts and has a great texture!

The walnut mochi has a sticky texture, and you don't really feel the crunch of the walnuts.
