I feel that a lot of attention is paid to the way the fire is lit. It is also reflected in chawanmushi, shishito-yaki, liver-grilled liver, and true eel bowl. It's piping hot, but not hot enough to make you huff and puff as you eat it. When you put your cheeks in it, every part of it is equally hot, and your mouth is filled with the piping hot texture, but you never feel like you're going ahhh!. I find it very difficult to get the heat just right, or rather to evenly heat the entire food like this.
Currently, meals are priced at 12,500 yen including tax, and drinks are 750 yen for draft beer and 1,050 yen for cold sake. There is no menu, so just ask the staff and they will tell you the brand.
