Came here for lunch randomly while exploring the area. The service was amazing (typical of Japan) as well as the food and price. Can sit 10 people around the grill as well as another 10 in another area. Set course is such value for money.

I've been going there occasionally since I moved to Otsuka.
This time, for the first time, an elderly person was in charge of cooking, but perhaps because he was busy, everything was sloppy...
I was especially disappointed because the presentation was terrible.
For reference, the top image is from my last visit, and the bottom image is from this time (the steak plate, both the meat and garnishes, was a mess at first, but I cleaned it up a bit for the photo).
As for the omelet rice, it was served without even wiping off the rice grains and sauce that had scattered around the edges of the plate.
I also work at a restaurant in a reasonable price range, and while it's fine for a 1,500 yen set meal, I'm not in a position where I can offer a 15,000 yen course to customers.
The ingredients were good, so it was generally good, but the bread wasn't very toasted, the omelet rice wasn't cooked all the way through, and the egg white was still in it even though it was half-cooked, so it was like egg-cooked rice.

The steak and omelet rice are exquisite. The atmosphere of the restaurant has deteriorated considerably since Ikebukuro, but the taste remains the same.
