Tamachan Shibuya Scramble Square Review Summary

Reasonably priced and bustling eatery, with a good range of satisfying okonomiyaki / noodle based dishes.

I went for my second visit to this restaurant in as many years as a solo diner on a busy weekend evening, but was seated after only a short wait, and received a warm welcome and speedy service (ordering via website / mobile once seated).

Food was well prepared and delicious.

The restaurant was operating a 90 minute maximum stay with at least one drink to be ordered, but I did not feel pressured or rushed at any point - all in all, a great experience.

All the food we ordered was delicious and well priced. It is a requirement that you order one drink per customer but that is normal for a lot of places and the food more than makes up for it. After walking around Tokyo for a whole day this restaurant had the perfect recharge food we needed. Coming back here the next time I'm in Shibuya.

Delicious! I have been 18 days in Japan and this place what extraordinary in terms of flavor and sizes. Worth every yen! I tried the lunch menu number 3 and 6. Both amazing! I really hate this broth most menus bring in Japan because is flavorless, without salt, only taste like Nori, but this one was really good.
And you had to open a web from your phone where you can order by yourself anything. Food did not take long to come as every single thing was marvelous. Completely recommended.

Oishii! Great for a family of 6 people to dine, relax and drink with a view. My mum and dad enjoyed the food so much. Service was friendly and inviting! The okonomiyaki, kimchi fried rice, curry bowl and even the tofu rice bowl was delicious! The 10-20minutes wait was so worth it! We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Thank you for hosting us! Highly recommend!

This server with blonde pigtails is very very rude!! 😖

First of all, we asked her nicely to translate what she is saying because we cannot understand Japanese, but she refused and did a shooing gesture in front of my sister's face without answering our concern.

She was not even smiling, or even talk nicely to us. The way she serves the food, she looks so irritated and putting the beverages/foods rudely on our table that the water/soup almost spilled.

After we ate, we were just sitting in front of the restaurant (no queue this time) and she told us to leave rudely! She did the shooing gesture once again and it made all of us upset.

The food was good, but due to this lady's service. It made our overall experience soooo bad!
