Great fruit themed cafe and shop which serves a variety of juices, smoothies, pancakes, crepes, parfait fruit and ice-cream and fresh creme desserts, coffees and toasts.
Seating at 8 small tables next to a side street popular for eateries and shops, so you'll have plenty of people watching possibilities if dining alone.
Fresh juices are popular- especially the 'mixed juice' combination of seasonal juices. The fresh fruit selection plate is my favorite vegan healthy order. The 'Zakuro' pomegranate juice is also strong and unsweetened. Smoothies have ice-cream added so not vegan and dubious if smoothies or any of the cream filled treats are at all healthy, but they do taste great.
Cafe is all non-smoking. No wifi. No English menu but there are pictures and clear prices listed. BGM is Japanese pop music. Popular with couples, women and young families.
Unfortunately they still use plastic straws, so make sure to order saying 'no straw please' and the staff are ok with that. Hope they ask 'do you need a straw?' to customers in future to reduce waste.
Everything else is served on reusable plates, cups and utensils for eat-in - which is a nice point of sustainability to see.
This is a popular chain of fruit shops, fruit cafes and fruit stands across Hiroshima city, so it's nice to support a local business.
