The price to value is amazing if you get the specials but still very affordable either way. The braised eel was especially tasty and I enjoyed the light tea served at the table.
They have adorable instructions that explain how to combine and eat your food for the best flavors as well.
Also one of the few places open at an early hour (8:30am)

The food was delicious and well seasoned. They even had a drawing to show how the Ohitsusen is eaten. Both mine and my sister’s were very well seasoned. We totally enjoyed everything served to us.
Do take note that credit cards aren’t accepted at this restaurant. And so be patient and enjoy watching the chefs prepare the meals or your dining companions.

Great authentic Japanese breakfast at a fair price. Neat to see the morning commute of the working class as well.
