2023/12/XX (Lunch)
If you want to enjoy a high-quality Japanese set meal in the Tameike Sanno and Akasaka areas, there are three options: Akasaka Tanigawa, Kien, and Doma.
Today, I made a reservation at Tanikawa in advance and had lunch with my wife.
*Today's lunch was fully booked and walk-ins were turned away.
■This week's menu @ 1,500 yen (tax included)
*Tuna yolk soy sauce, fish dishes, black pork soup stock, small side dish, rice, miso soup, pickled vegetables, sweets
The classic high-quality tuna yolk soy sauce with a melting texture and the Kurobuta dashi shabu that is made after arriving at the restaurant were as delicious as ever. I especially love the black pork shabu, which has an elegant soup stock and has a special feel. The richly flavored pork is delicious, but the bean sprouts that come with it are crunchy and make you realize once again how delicious bean sprouts can be.
Today's fish dish was yellowtail daikon, but unlike the yellowtail daikon made at home, it had a light seasoning with the dashi stock as the main ingredient. However, the flavor was strong, and the daikon and yellowtail soaked well in the soup stock, making it delicious.
Other than that, it was a wonderful Japanese set meal that was well-balanced without cutting corners, such as the sticky tofu that had a handmade feel, the crisp and glossy rice, and the red miso bowl with a strong red soup stock.
Finally, we finished our lunch with some citrus jelly.
It's a quiet and calm space, and the proprietress's courteous customer service is excellent, so you can always have a pleasant and delicious lunch.
Please note that payment is only in cash.
Thank you for the meal today.
*Open until December 28th during the year, and open from January 10th for the beginning of the year.
