Tantan Hanten Review Summary

I much prefer the more authentic “without soup” Tantan Men, so I was delighted to discover this place open up. Nowhere as good as nearby La Show Han but very good nonetheless.

Noodles are deliciously firm and chewy, soup flavour is excellent and great Sansho taste.

Slightly disappointing things: way too many beansprouts, if you order the egg topping it’s part boiled rather than hard boiled so almost completely dissolves into the sauce.

Good and kind attention. The tantamen was good.

Dandan noodles 2 spicy (normal) with extra coriander.

When I eat the soup, I get numb to the spiciness.
The vegetables were stir-fried to keep their texture and crunch. .
The smooth and chewy curly noodles go on and on.

Accented with the sweet and robust flavor of meat miso. .
I want to put this on rice with coriander next time.

Add Hoa Giang and vinegar from the table to change the taste.
Even more numbing experience.

I ate 1 spicy dandan noodles without soup for 950 yen. The noodles are chewy and the sauce is rather milky, making it easy to eat. Ground meat is sweet and easy to eat.

This time I ate the normal Dandanmen 1 spicy dish. As it was a weekday night, the ticket machines were not in use, so we ordered at the counter and paid in cash after the meal. The taste was creamy and easy to eat for everyone.
