Incredible experience, very cozy and relaxing spot - we sat at the counter and watched the chef get to work! Tempura was light, fresh, and every ingredient carefully selected. The chef was very friendly and took care of us despite knowing little, but enough English to explain and chat to us! Highly recommend!

Incredible tempura! It may seem pricey at first glance, but the quality and volume you receive is worth twice as much if you were to go to a similar tempura restaurant in downtown Kyoto.
