The tempura at this place is quite perfect, especially the vegetable tempura. It is made fast and delicious. It is a very small place and we arrived at 9am so there was no line. I imagine it could get a large queue later. We were required to get one bowl per person, which was a bit annoying as we had a 7 year old and she was required to get a bowl for herself. Not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to not have to get an extra bowl.

This place uses very fresh ingredients and therefore ¥2,000 for a special tempura donburi is reasonable where some say it is pricy (one must pay for quality ingredients). If there’s tempura donburi for less than 1,000 yen, I know they use frozen imported stuff. Some say rice is hard, but this is how it should be done. The old lady is so humble and very caring.

Small place but delivered fresh and delicious tempura menus. Local cosy place in outer Tsukiji market.

Translated from Japanese:

I wanted to eat delicious tempura, so I ordered a 3,500 yen course from this restaurant. I thought it wasn't much for two people, but the freshly fried tempura was added one after another, and I was able to eat a lot. salt...

Translated from Japanese:

First visit since I visited before coronavirus. It's still delicious and served quickly, which is a nice touch. I also like that the host has an Edo-like and casual feel! I also like that it's open from 9am. I got bored at Tsukiji during that time...

Translated from Japanese:

A super rare tempura restaurant that opens in the morning rather than in the afternoon. There is a blind on the back, but I put it in normally. The host, who seems to be from Edo, will serve you efficiently. I received the special selection and ice cream tempura. The sauce is nice and not too thick...
