Had a delightful meal even though we don't know Japanese. The menu is handwritten on sheets of paper on the walls, so Google Translate didn't help with them, but the chefs and server were friendly and willing to work with us through Google Translate. We had the winter tendon (shrimp, oysters, and fish with eggplant, mushrooms, and yam), vegetables (previous list plus onions, green beans, okra, and lotus root, and the unagi. It came with a small salad, miso soup, and some pickled vegetables. We sat at the counter and watched everything being cooked right in front of us. The ingredients were of excellent quality, and everything tasted very good!


Very good tempura. It was very different from what I've eaten before and the sauce was good. Very cosy. Mom and Pop restaurant and very friendly! Everything is written on the wall in Japanese though.
