We consider ourselves lucky to get seated without reservations! This was part of our “must-do” list in Tokyo! The restaurant atmosphere is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful explaining what can be made gluten free. They do make you aware that food is cooked on the same grill as gluten food. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Food was really good overall! The chefs also had very high energy leading to a great and fun atmosphere. We had made reservations prior, so was able to sit at the teppenyaki seats.
We ordered the set menu, which consisted of wagyu, okonomiyaki, squid, and the egg. The wagyu and the squid were the highlights of the meal. The okonomiyaki we ordered was slightly saltier than expected due to the large amount of cheese they put on it.
My only complaint is the language barrier that they had. The server was not able to explain the set menu to us, and it turned out the set menu (which required two orders) was only one okonomiyaki and one set of Wagyu beef shared between two people. The menu was very confusing, because it made it look like each person was getting their own share.
Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was great, but there could definitely be more clarity on the menu.

Fantastic spot for okonomiyaki! We were lucky because we only had to wait a few minutes before we got seated. The restaurant is fairly small and cozy. So if you have a larger party it might be a bit cramped. They do allow smoking in the dining room.
The prices were very good for the amount of food you get. We ended up ordering 4 for a party of 5 and it was more than enough food for everyone!
Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Just only learnt of this late night dinner place right at kabukicho center. The atmosphere is casual and fun. Food is generally good - some 5, some 3. The beef tendon melts in your mouth tho serving is small. The grilled oysters explodes with umami when you bite into it. The diced beef was tender but slightly pricey. Stay away from the sake flight - it’s 6 cups of tiny serving, half a sip if you want to measure (knocking a star off the food and overall)

We had one of the best restaurant experiences at Teppan Baby while staying in Tokyo. We didn't have a reservation and they sat us at the bar, which was amazing as you could see the two very skilled cooks working on the okonomiyakis. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was inviting and cheerful. The food was delicious and I'd recommend this place to anyone going to Tokyo.
