Teppan Johnny Review Summary

We were staying in Haneda and wandered into this neighborhood after returning our car. Saw this teppanyaki place that was filled with people. Came back the next day and managed to get two seats without advanced reservations. The food is so good. Especially the chicken with that generous amount of garlic. Must try if you are in the area.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and people! There is an English menu as well.

We are visiting from the U.S. and enjoyed our experience at Teppan Johnny! The service was great and the food was flavorful. The meal was reasonably priced for the serving size and quality.

This place shares an entrance with the hotel I was at. Okinawa Tepanyaki restaurant. I’ve never had anything like this before.

I was on my own and got a nice seat right in front of the grill.

Staff were super friendly and brought me a menu in English. They also spoke English to me, the waiter was very friendly.

I ordered octopus wasabi - it was very strong. Okinawa Soba - it was like a ramen dish with a big chunk of pork in it. Very good!! And garlic grilled chicken - it was VERY garlicky!

It wasn’t so expensive and everything was well made.

Very casual local atmosphere. Very friendly & kind staff, foods was great!
