Only cash is accepted and make sure to bring some coins with. The owner seriously tried to overcharge of about 900 yen to avoid lack of change. (Or because I was in my 20s. might not do to elderly.) Actually they had enough and I didn't have to pay the extra at that time. ''Do you need change?'' thing never happens in Japan, especially with this amount, so be careful. Not reliable business and forgot the entire experience.

Hard to make a reservation but worth the effort
You should tell them how much you want to eat when you make reservation
It's a local gem but you'll feel like you're in Japan

I'm sure you'll become a fan too. Shisenan Theater opens! !
About 15 minutes walk from Musashi Koyama.
This is a 100-famous soba restaurant with a great atmosphere, located just past Rinshinomori Park.
The quaint restaurant, run by a married couple, has a total of 16 seats.
It's a homey space with about 4 groups at a time.
Business days are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only, 60 minutes for lunch and 90 minutes for dinner.
I made a reservation over the phone two weeks in advance and got a slot for the weekend opening time.
----------Order----------
■Soba miso grill (550 yen)
■Katakuchi Sardine (550 yen)
■Coarsely ground soba bran (1,320 yen)
■Shine muscat with white dressing
■Japanese yam grated bamboo steamer (1,650 yen)
■Sake tasting (1,100 yen)
----------Review----------
■Soba miso-yaki
Miso-yaki was quite impressive to me.
The texture of the soba noodles and the slightly sweet miso are complemented by the refreshing taste of the yuzu.
The aroma of the grilled eyes was also great.
■Hard sardines
A child who always gets pinched.
The bonus jaco is also good for drinking.
■Coarsely ground soba bran
Soba gaki served piping hot.
This was so delicious...!
The texture is fluffy. Even if you eat it with seaweed, wasabi, and soy sauce, the flavor of soba won't be lost.
According to the general, this has earned him a Michelin rating.
It's so delicious that you'll definitely want to order it!
■Shine muscat with white dressing
Seasonal dishes not included in the menu.
If you say something like that, I have no choice but to ask!
The cheese tossed with the thick tofu and the cubed Narazuke are the perfect accompaniment.
This was really delicious too.
■Japanese yam grated bamboo steamer
Finish off with soba noodles, of course.
Freshly-grilled Japanese yams are so chewy that if you pick them up with chopsticks, they'll turn into a lump!
The soba noodles have a chewy texture. It was my first time trying this type of soba, and I was impressed by how delicious it was.
This is sure to make you want to eat another one!
■Tasty sake
・Sharaku
・Mutsu Eight Immortals
・Divinity
A sake tasting where you can choose your favorite 3 brands from over 30 types of sake and compare them.
Isn't this a great deal? !

I was looking for delicious soba near Musashikoyama and found this place. It's located in a residential area, away from the station, and is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so reservations are essential. I ordered 100% soba noodles, soba tofu, soba miso-yaki, and soba gaki. All of them were delicious, but the soba gaki I ate for the first time was fluffy and exquisite!
