The Grill On 30th Review Summary

We came here because we were staying at this hotel, it was our anniversary and we didn’t want to go far. But the restaurant was great. Chef Kawakami (I hope I’m right) cooked perfectly,also friendly and very professional. All the food he cooked was excellent. The reason why I gave 4 stars not a 5 stars was the desserts were not that good. They didn’t look like 25000 yen course desserts. But other than that, the view was great, very quiet, Chef was professional and meals was great. We had a good time.

Came here for lunch because I was staying at the Grand Nikko. Wow, this place is actually so good. The salmon and the lobster were mind-blowing. It's during the strawberry season, so they offered a strawberry dessert buffet that was absolutely 💯 so worth the money. I will definitely return to this hotel. Five stars, highly recommended! 🤩

The views from this restaurant are just spectacular. As the name implies, it is on the 30th floor of the Grand Nikko Hotel. We came late and we’re still served and the service was good. We ordered the 1kg tomahawk steak and split it amongst three adult males. Sides that were added included mashed potatoes, asparagus and steamed spinach. Very nice meal overall, but again nothing beats a Texas steak 🤩

Came for breakfast! Great food to start off the day. We had the American and Japanese versions plus they serve a lot of side dishes at the buffet.

Stopped here to have drinks and snacks while admiring the evening harbor view.
