Real French brasserie among sky scrappers, good house music and decent menu, quality is satisfactory 👌🏻 i wish we could be on the terrace (on a sunny day)

Really nice french restaurant with a great service. We took a la carte as the daily menu did not look very interesting. Portions are big, and they taste like France ! Nice cassoulet and quenelle. It is pretty uncommon to find such dishes at this relatively cheap price in Tokyo. I recommend.

Located in Tokyo Marunouchi area, THE UPPER is renowned for its unique culinary style and top-notch service. Recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by its creativity and depth of flavors.

From the seafood platter to the charcuterie assortment, escargot Burgundy style, 1000g bone-in short rib, and finishing with Tokyo Mont Blanc, every dish was exceptional!

The ambiance was cozy, and the service was outstanding! Can't wait for the next visit!

The food here suffers from varied salt levels. The chicken liver pate seemed to have no salt. Yet, the cassoulet and bouillabaisse seemed to have a whole salt container dropped into each dish. The highlight was the Tripes à la Niçoise, which tasted like the non-garlic version of trippa alla romana. The tripe was very tender and seasoned. The service was polite but lacked basic knowledge of utensils. My bouillabaise was served without a spoon and another dish for shells. Servers took away plates while we were still eating the dish it came with. I wouldn't recommend this place.

You can enjoy very delicious modern French cuisine in a stylish restaurant with a view of the Marunouchi buildings.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, making it a great place to go on an anniversary or date.
