This was one of the best Shoyu ramen we had when visiting Japan.
The broth was delicious, and the fresh udon noodles were a great texture.
There is no English menu - you order on a ticket machine, and have to go to the counter and tell them which noodle thickness you want. I had some trouble ordering the noodles as the chef didn’t speak English and my Japanese was very poor - but he was patient and helped me order. I ordered number 2 thickness and my partner ordered number 3.
Would recommend trying this ramen if you’re in Tokyo - it’s a short train ride to Koenji and there are great vintage stores around to shop at as well.

The noodles are homemade so they are perfectly chewy. The soup is rich and the meat is delicious! Recommend
