Toku Review Summary

Had a dinner Sep 15, 2024. Didn't make a reservation. Arrived earlier and the store gave us about 1 hour. Surprised to see the store is really small. Just 2 dining tables plus a few bar seats. There is a bench, where patrons have to sit back to back, with 工a backrest in between. The patrons on one side, with slight movement, really bother those on the other side. The store is also old. The staff did not speak any English. The menu not in English either. Really pricy but tasty. Not able to pay with credit card even after the staff worked on the machine for almost 20 minutes.

One of the BEST yakiniku restaurant I have ever been to. We ordered some of the wagyu dishes, kimchi, soup, and salad. All of the dishes were prepared with care and attentive. The customer service part was beyond expectations. If you come to Japan, definitely make a trip here.

Um, why didn’t I eat here sooner? The quality is phenomenal! Highly recommend the ロース and the kimchi salad thing... it’s extremely addictive. Everything I ordered was delicious, but those two dishes stood out the most! If you’re not a drinker, their sparkling water goes very well with the meats! Get a reservation or come at 5pm!

All the manga doodles on the wall by famous authors are super cool too! Must be because the publishing houses are nearby!
