Secret gem in Kyoto! A Japanese friend told me about Tokuwo, and I have been back 3 times. Tiny restaurant with seats around a counter, focus is on seafood. Excellent in every way. Must reserve.

Just lovely. Sashimi some of the best I had anywhere in japan. Hamo best I had in Kyoto. Kagoshima beef to die for. And of course the matsutake. Overall experience outstanding.
