Tokyo Mamehana Kōbō

Specialising in Taiwanese soft tofu desserts, this small and simple shop offers soft dessert tofu with your choice of syrup and toppings, either hot or cold.

The tofu itself isn't as smooth and soft as the better ones in Taiwan, or perhaps in other Asian countries that specialise in this dessert, but it's still very good for Tokyo. However, the choice of combinations is what completes the dessert and it's overall worth going to for a taste of a different, light but comforting dessert, or familiar flavours.

The venue is small with only a couple of tables and some chairs where you can wait for a table, but customers generally will eat then leave if people are waiting.

Not the smoothest 豆腐花 I’ve had but the combination of the toppings and icy syrup was so refreshing in the humid summer heat. I agree with the other reviews that the sweetness is gentle but perfect amount. The staff was very nice and tried their best to communicate with me in broken English, I appreciated it!

I've tried other restaurants' tofu pudding, but this one is the closest to the Taiwanese taste. The taste is also gently sweet.! Would be nice if they could give us a little more of the tofu pudding!
