We were in the area craving some good unadon and decided to stop by this cosy spot. The place is quite small, with just one big table that we shared with other customers—a unique first-time experience for us! They had an English menu, so ordering was a breeze.

We tried several dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious! The unagi stood out—it's probably the best I've had. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!

A hidden gem in Kyoto. I went there for dinner before going to Heian Shrine. We found this restaurant by Google and never expect to have such good quality in this price. We ordered Sasimi, Unagi (eel) with rice and Tempura for dinner. All of them were delicious.

Highly recommended to give it a try if you go to that area.

Limited seating, so if you get a seat it feels like a very personalised service.
Their main clients are temples so the food is of great verity and high quality

I feel that each item is carefully made, and I am very satisfied.
I can't forget the soup that overflows from the ganmo.
