-----You can reach the store in about 3 minutes on foot from Akasaka Station, or 5 minutes from Akasaka-mitsuke Station. It is a popular Chinese restaurant along with "Sichuan Snacks Yun Lianfang" located on the 1st floor. Selected as one of Tabelog's 100 Famous Restaurants.
Visited right after opening on a weekday. It's best to visit early, as the place fills up before 12:00 and there is a queue.
This time I ordered 4. Mapo tofu. Free refills of rice and soup.
As soon as it is served, the unique scent of Japanese pepper and mapo wafts through the air. The tofu was soft and had a nice aroma.
It's freshly made, so those with a bite or cat tongue may have a hard time.
The side dish, including the almond tofu, is also of high quality.
It's easy to see why it's popular.
Furthermore, mapo tofu has a unique flavor, so if you don't like ethnic foods, it may not suit you.
Above is 900 yen per person. Surprising cost performance considering the location. It had a charm that made me want to come even at night.
