Tonkatsu Daiki Review Summary

The most delicious katsu curry I’ve had in my life. The staff advised it was spicy when ordering, but I found the level to be perfect for my tastes. We ate a third of the curry before realizing we forgot to take photo, it was that good. English menu is available and the friendly staff made recommendations for which sides and sauces to use for each dish. We ordered fried horse mackerel the second visit and it was also delicious. Both sets are highly recommended. When I come back to Japan this will be the first place I come to eat after landing.

Absolutely delicious! We went there and couldn’t speak Japanese, but were treated with great hospitality and delicious tonkatsu. We were even treated to instructions on how to eat the juicy and crispy tonkatsu! I would recommend the pork fillet; juicy, tender, melt-in-mouth deliciousness. There is also an English menu. :-)

We got the pork loin cutlet and chicken fillet cutlet set. Both were delicious with the chicken being especially good - incredibly tender with a light batter that didn’t feel too oily at all! Even the rice here I found to be of better quality than most other places.
The staff were very kind and incredibly attentive. I would like to say thank you to staff here for making us feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re passing through the Kamata area!! I will definitely be back again.

Really decent tonkatsu right next to the keikyu kamata station, very bright, cozy and clean environment. The young man who served us was very friendly and also able to communicate with us in English. I would definitely visit again if I happen to stay in the area.

Great food but definitely a bit isolating. Single booths are blocked off so you can't see anyone else.
