An excellent tonkatsu place with a lot of options that will satisfy any pork craving. They have a nice selection of different cuts of meat, so make sure to pick your favorite. They also have katsudon, which is what I went with and it was fantastic. You can pick the kind of pork you want, and special cutlet was one of the better ones I’ve had in Tokyo. For the cabbage, they have a special onion sauce that was unique and so flavorful that it enhanced the whole experience. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable and standard for such a restaurant.

My partner loves tonkatsu and adored this place! I'm not a big meat eater so I can't say I enjoyed it as much as him. However it's notably good quality ingredients, everything is top notch and lots of grades to pick from. I chose the leanest possible meat option but it wasn't as lean as I expected. I gave my partner the fatty parts and he was happy about it.

This place is an absolute must go! It was 7:45, and most of the restaurants were closing up. We found this place and were greeted in front of the door by the sweetest and most accommodating hostess.
She seated us at the bar area (the tables were full) brought us English menus, took our order as soon as we were ready (but didn't rush us) and brought us waters that she refilled as soon as they got below half full...she did this multiple times, she was fabulous!
Our meal was large with a delicious cabbage salad - with a scrumptious housemade onion dressing, the main course, the pork cutlet over rice w/curry - absolutely AMAZING! (the cutlet was fried to perfection, and it was super juicy!!). It included a tasty soup, and they topped the whole meal off with hot green tea. I can't say enough about our whole experience at Hasegawa. The hostess/server even gave us to go boxes (there was SO MUCH food, and we didn't want to waste a single bite of it!). On day 9 of our trip, we all agreed that this was our best meal & dining experience so far (and we've had some amazing food while here). We loved our whole experience here, and even though we only have 1 day left, we're going to try and make it back on our last day!
P.S. - very affordable!
