Waited just under 1 hour, line moved quick despite looking long! Restaurant is two floors with sufficient number of seating.
Service was impeccable and very friendly.
Tonkatsu was thick, delicious and rested well. Good for a casual dinner that will hit the spot!

I was craving tonkatsu and found this gem thanks to a recommendation from a friend. When I got here for dinner, there was already a line out the door and we waited about 30 minutes so it went pretty fast. The people in front of us sat on the first floor and the second floor. When it got to our turn, we sat on the first floor, right at the bar in front of the chefs. We got to see everything in action and it wasn't anything too spectacular but it was still interesting to watch. The food came out nice and hot since it was fried fresh. I did wish the batter came out more golden brown and crispy than what it did but it still tasted okay. It's not what you would expect from other tonkatsu spots since it comes with a salad and miso soup. I also ordered it with a glass of beer because it was a hot day of walking around in the month of July.

Waited for close to an hour but it was worth it. Got seated at the counter where was given an English menu and a hot towel. Pointed to the dish I want (note: you will need to add another 500ish yen for rice and miso soup which I recommend) and it took them about another 20 min to prep the food as it was made to order. They give you some green tea to start.

One of the BEST tonkatsu that I have ever had since visiting Japan. Although it was thick in the middle, it was very soft (buttery soft), juicy and cooked to perfection while the breading they used was light and fluffy. There is some tonkatsu sauce in a jar so you can adjust accordingly. When you are done, they gave me some oolong or hōjicha tea to help digest the meal you had which was very considerate!
