[Toranomon Todaka]
------
Location: 4 minutes walk from Toranomon station
Budget: 13,000-15,000 yen
------
Shokudo Todaka, a very popular creative Japanese izakaya in Gotanda, has opened a new store in Toranomon Hills! Toranomon Todaka opened as a pop-up store in Toranomon Yokocho before officially opening as a store. Immediately after opening, we were fully booked for several months in advance.
The long-awaited Toranomon Todaka-san. The store only has counters. There is more space between seats than at the restaurant in Gotanda (lol).Since we are a couple who do not drink alcohol, we opted for the 13,000 yen omakase course that includes all-you-can-drink soft drinks. Click here for this time's menu.

In Toranomon, Todaka-san is still Todaka-san ✨ At Toranomon Yokocho, where the concept is bar-hopping, this menu goes beyond the belly bread. A ladder is impossible (lol)
Todaka-san's cuisine is Japanese-based, but all of their dishes are truly exquisite. The menu is creative, with deep yet gentle flavors. We make full use of the flavor of the ingredients. I really like Todaka's seasoning and it makes me happy every time.
The classic boiled sea urchin egg is definitely delicious ✨ The grilled sea bream sushi is also delicious. The steamed egg custard with scallops and sea lettuce has lots of scallops in it, and the scent of sea lettuce is really delicious! The plum flavor of the eel ohitashi was very effective and left a lasting impression on me.
My husband and I love Shiarae every time, and it went really well with the fruit tomatoes✨The lotus root tofu was also delicious. I have always loved Todaka's tofu series.
A rush of carbohydrates sandwiched between consistently delicious amanatto cheese mochi! Starting with the standard beef rice, somen noodles, noodles with plum sauce, fried rice, pasta, curry...I was eating sparingly, but the zha cai pasta pushed me over the edge. In the past I ended up eating a whole lot of bread (lol)
And kiwi daifuku! It fits better than I imagined. It's a very fresh daifuku. There's a good chance that you're at your limit with belly bread, but I'd like you to eat freshly made food if you can. They'll even let you take half home.
Toranomon Todaka is a course that includes all-you-can-drink, with soft drinks only priced at 13,000 yen, and those with alcohol priced at 15,000 yen. The prices are a little higher than the Gotanda Hills cafeteria/Tachinomi, but I think it can't be helped given the location. It has little effect on couples who don't drink alcohol (lol)
I'm looking forward to visiting again next time. Thank you for the meal~✨
