Trattoria Azzurri Review Summary

Definitely a popular place as it was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant is clean but a bit dated and very loud. There are set menus but you can also order via QR code. Vegetarian options are minimal - which is fine, I should have done a better checking food options. Ordered a pasta with fish, bok choy & yellow peppers - it was extremely salty and not tasty…we each left over half of our meal. Ordered olives as a starter and they were served looking gelatinous but we think they’re stored in the fridge and the olive oil needed to melt - taste was fine. Many reviews are very positive for this restaurant but it wasn’t for me.

Looking forward for Italian food so came here. Order two set. Like the bread is nice and can refill. It served Italian food but the spaghetti doesn't taste italian. Order the sapghetti bolognese it taste not nice and far away from italian style. Lucky the grill meat is good. Dessert cheese cake the texture not nice. Coffee is not bad.

Wonderful Italian dinning with a vibrant atmosphere. They have comfortable counter seats from where view of their cooking can be enjoyed while eating. All the dishes are tasty, carefully made and served. Prawn pasta or roasted chicken are highly recommended. The serving size is quite big, so it is best for more than one person. A special mention to the dessert plates and their huge collection of wine.

Wonderful spot for lunch - but make a reservation or get there early. I've eaten here many times and always found the food outstanding and the service prompt and friendly. Great portions and free refills on the delicious bread.

This is the first time I've had lasagna in years and it was very well cooked and delicious. I also recommend the garlic toast, just be careful because it comes out very hot. The staff were attentive and kind.
