Trattoria Piano Review Summary

The pizza was exceptional, the pasta was amazing. Fresh ingredients, made to order, the best meal we had all week. Cash only but sooo worth it!

If you are in for a more western-style pizza, meaning a good amount of topping so that the dough cant hold it if you lift a piece, then you are in for a treat here! :) Only close minded people would argue about it not being italian enough - but you are in japan and its not run by italians. Dough is sick, a good amount of topping, and extra wishes were NO problem. Left out corn and cream on the american pizza and we added proscuitto on a margerita. I dont know what people expect these days. And if u want some actual food for this price of course the bottom of the pizza will get a bit soggy over time, but its bc theres so much good tasting juicy topping, who in the right mind complains about that wtf.
The grape fruit juice was very delicious by the way 🙂‍↕️ (combine it with a peach fizz and u get a deluxe tasting mix)

Oh and i was a countless amount of times in italy, i go there EVERY year and this pizza was better than many i've eaten there.

Goid pizza! Friendly owner, fresh Mozerlla Cheese. Thin pizza so don't have to worry about bloating. Nice sauce. Overall a good experience. Bring cash, they don't take cards.

I had the margarita pizza with prosciutto and a beer in here. Was better than Italy. Really r recommend if you are in Nara. A1 👌🏆

The food here exceeded my expectations. At first I didn't expect much from a restaurant around the Nara but this place was as good as other good quality Italian restaurants I've been to. The portion was perfect as well, and they had a few craft beer as well.

A slight downside was one of the staff wasn't up to par. He didn't speak a word when serving a dish, but may be because they thought I didn't speak Japanese.
