Trunk Kitchen Review Summary

We had a brunch there. I was really looking for it. We chose the American plate in order to have most of a brunch and two drinks.
The orange juice is from some I-don’t-know-industrial-brand and not fresh made. Then you have one plate with no special personality. Yogurt is good though. Then came the tea (for me) and about the same has the juice at the beginning. Some low level tea in a very small cup.
This brunch really didn’t worth the almost ¥7000 I spent for two… nope!

I had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Food is very good, except for their bread which is chewy and soft but looks with a french baguette 🤔
Their sweet potato soup was boring and overly sugary. Same with the cheesecake.
All the rest is really good.
Some staff members are adorable, others just laugh behind your back and that's a little weird. Not adapted to this kind of place.
As a hotel guest you get a 20% discount on dinner but not lunch. why?
Last but not least, they have the worst pieces of art that you could imagine.
Besides all that, you should go for food, definitely👍

Relatively fancy place with ok food and nice atmosphere.

We ordered two lamb racks and the soy meat set.

The lamb racks tasted ok, however it was not a rack, it was just two ribs which is a bit misleading.
It came with and assortment of starters and some salad. I also ordered a cola which was mostly ice.

The soy meat was actually surprisingly big so plus points there.

The service was nice and fast.

Overall i think it is a bit expensive.

perhaps my expectation is a bit higher than its taste. maybe fancy price and good atmosphere make it higher.
I appreciate that they have Vegan course. but, my appetite couldn't satisfied.
need some carbohydrates.

My friend took me this wonderful restaurant for my birthday! All the food in this restaurant were amazing. I definitely want to go there again
