One of our best meals at Kyoto. We didn’t have a reservation but we got to sit at the bar and enjoy watching the chefs cook and interact while eating. We took the normal course menu. (They have vegetarian option as well.)Every item was prepared with fresh ingredients and with much care. Absolutely loved the experience. Highly recommend.

I think this is a modern Japanese homemade style restaurant. Today was the last night in Kyoto. Among all the restaurants, this was the best. A unagi restaurant was also fantastic, but I like them. I recommend a normal course. I added a french fries.

Simply amazing food! It is hands down the best food we have had in Kyoto in two weeks. The chefs cook infont of you and everything tastes extremely fresh and delicious! I have dietary requirements, and they made me the most delicious stir-fry and were so kind and accomodating and checked several times to make sure certain food was alright for me to eat. The tomato pickled in white wine is an absolute must-try, it's heaven! The atmosphere is awesome, and we really enjoyed both of our visits! Thoroughly recommend!
