Tsumugido Shinjuku Review Summary

Amazing food! Feels like a really fresh local spot but with a creative twist and flavour on their dishes. The atmosphere is great, full of locals and the staff is super friendly. (Note: bring your google translate if you don’t speak Japanese as they don’t have English menus).

We ordered the chicken leg, the chicken yuzu with avocado, gyozas and the potato salad and everything was extremely delicious!

It was a great store to say the least. The appetizer was so delicious that I wish it was on the menu. The drinkable gyoza, boiled tongue, grilled domestic chicken with gravy, and corned beef potato salad were all delicious. This shop has a wide variety of lemon sours and is perfect for lemon sour lovers. I made a reservation from 4pm, but it was a popular restaurant that was fully booked, so I thought it would be better to make a reservation. There are two ways to pay: cash or cash card (2025.1.12). I would definitely like to go again.

This is a highly satisfying izakaya. The menu looks interesting and good too! We seem to be able to cater to a wide range of customers, from office workers to young women! Especially the tongue is big and super soft! I feel like the most orthodox way to eat tongue is grilled, but I never knew it was so delicious when boiled.
