Tsurukameya Review Summary

This place was excellent! The food was tasty with good selection. We had the miso ramen and gyoza. There was table space and they are very welcoming to small children. They provided a small booster seat and we're very kind.

Been eating here often lately … filling, hearty ramen and clean shop. Love the Taiwan style miso ramen. A big attraction for me is that they also have 2 monthly nihonshu (sake) selections you can order by the glass. Only downside is that smoking is allowed at night and sometimes customers can spend a long time hanging out drinking.

I've been going there for almost 15 years as a local favorite. I like the rich soup and the thick noodles. I recommend Taiwanese ramen (1st photo).
It's open until quite late at night, and you can also drink alcohol, so I'd like to try it at a drinking party next time.

After reading the reviews, I ordered a large bowl of Taiwanese Tsukemen. With the sweet and spicy dipping sauce, I was able to eat until the end without getting bored. The noodles are chewy and satisfying to eat. Looks like rice comes free for lunch.

My companion was eating tsukemen. I thought this would be good with the sweet sauce.

Next time I would like to try Taiwanese ramen.
