Tsurutontan Udon Noodle Brasserie Roppongi Review Summary

A beautiful spot with fantastic natural light on the 7th floor and modern music that sets a nice ambiance. The food is good, though the portions are on the larger side—even ordering a half-size was still more than I expected. Some dishes were quite spicy, which might have been nice to know in advance, but everything was still delicious. The menu is eclectic, ranging from various noodles to raw horse meat, which felt a bit mismatched with the other offerings.

Service is efficient, mostly self-ordered through a tablet, so minimal assistance is needed. They even provide a paper bib to help keep you clean—it’s not the most stylish touch, but practical, especially with noodle dishes that can get messy. The place is super clean and well-kept. For the portion sizes and quality, it’s reasonably priced. It’s a great choice for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. They don’t take reservations, so expect a short wait—about 10 minutes for a table.

Fine dining at normal prices! We did wait a while, but it wasn’t too bad. The food was delicious and servings were generous. Udon noodles were very well made and cooked. Sashimi and sushi side dishes were fresh and tasty. Cocktail drinks were absolutely sensational. Our overall dining experience was amazing. The big space, ambience and music made everything feel fine dining. The prices were very reasonable.

Udon tastes good! But taste-wise, you can find other good and cheaper places in Tokyo.
I think this place is more for experience, the service is nice and the huge bowl is impressive.

English friendly. My friends and I had the best time here! Food & Drinks were Delicious! One of my favorite spots. We got a private room as well. Came around 8pm was worth the wait (40-50min) put your name and number of guests at the front.

Udon for under 2,000 yen with a beautiful view! The udon was delicious, and you can customize your bowl by choosing thin or thick noodles. You can also select your portion size, from half to double, with no extra charge.

We went for lunch on a weekday and didn’t have to wait in line. After adding our party size to the queue in front of the restaurant, we were seated quickly. The customer service was excellent as well.

I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great udon!
