Very delicious and cheap teishoku restaurant. Most of the seats are counter seats so you can watch all the preparations from your seats. I really like the dipping sauce for the meat, also the combination of the meat and the soup are so good. They also gave you some tea👍🏻

A very good cheap-eat shop in Kanazawa! It is very popular among locals, the shop was crowded as soon as it opened. I liked their grilled pork belly lunch set! Soooo yummy! I think the beef tongue was a bit too sticky for me but still yummy!

One of the best restaurants in Kanazawa.
There’s a Japanese menu outside of the restaurant so it was helpful to be able to Google translate before heading in. Nothing really adventurous on the menu so it suited our conservative palates.
Highly recommend a foreigner to check it out - it was a great experience.

Teppanyaki and Hibachi are two Japanese cooking styles that involve grilling on a hot iron plate. While often used interchangeably, they have distinct differences. Teppanyaki refers to cooking on a flat griddle, where chefs skillfully prepare dishes like steak, seafood, and vegetables in front of diners. Hibachi, on the other hand, uses a round, open-grate grill heated by charcoal or gas, imparting a smoky flavor to the food. Discover the nuances and theatrical flair of these two captivating Japanese culinary arts.
