The wagyu beef serloin steak, as well as the nice setup, atmosphere, speed of the service and friendliness of the staff were the highlights of my experience at this place.
The potato salad and the spicy chicken breast in spicy sauce however, weren’t worth it. Both were freezing cold … and the latter wasn’t spicy at all either.
You also have to pay an additional table fee which is apparently supposed to include an appetizer according to the menu (and is around 580 yen if I remember correctly) . I personally don’t know what this appetizer is since I didn’t get any...
Final order is around 9:30PM.

We came here on a rainy day when we saw they had some of the better reviews for the restaurants in the area. A TOTAL HIDDEN GEM. The dishes are small and full of taste and delight. We ordered the mushroom and avocado dish- served warm and full of taste, fully recommended. The smoked chicken, the steak, the egg with potatoes, fried rice, and the napoleon spaghetti- all delightful, the mushroom and avocado coming at the top of our list.
The egg roll is a literal roll of flattened eggs, it was fluffy, not as tasteful as other dishes.
The tea cocktails are tea with a shot of liquor- tastes mostly like spiked tea, fun. We LOVED this experience, service was fast and great, the people are young and good at what they do. You can watch the chef cook your food right there behind the bar area.
THANK YOU FOR SUCH A DELICIOUS EXPERIENCE!

Great food but iffy service.
The runny egg potato salad and fries are a nice starters to whet your appetite. Gyoza is very well done and probably my favourite of the dishes ordered. Omelette roll is moist and slightly runny on the inside, topped with a generous serving of ikura. While the steak is good, the fat is quite tough and not melt-in-mouth grade.
Not sure if the young lady taking orders was having a bad day, or if glum is her default state... from the moment we stepped in she took our orders with a pokerface, which was honestly all good because the restaurant was packed and she was probably too busy to be putting up a smile for everyone.
But we were quite taken aback with the way she answered when we asked if we could use the wifi. Initially, we requested this from a male staff as signal was poor and my partner was hoping to respond to some work texts. He was nice and told us to give him a minute. We saw him approaching the female staff, and within three seconds she was over at our table, rudely saying I don't have it sorry - it was so apparent that she did have it, but just did not want to give it. Totally understandable if you're busy and cannot entertain the request, but it is not difficult to just be upfront in a cordial manner.
Quite an unpleasant experience with her but we tried to ignore it and not let that dampen our experience since the food was frankly good.

There were 10 of us with 2 kids and we booked the 7 course meal with unlimited drinks for 5000 yen. The portion is ridiculously small, 1 person gets 1 small cube of beef. It’s almost like the portion was divided by 3. They definitely DID NOT give us 10 adult potions. The service for food was slow as well. A few food options on the menu were sold out at 7:55 pm. The place did not accept Amex cards as well. And they chased us out right on the dot at 9pm. I will NOT go back to this place as it is a rip off, so disappointing.

Amazing izakaya food in Shibuya. Off the beaten path but great vibes and food is delicious. All very good Japanese comfort food with a menu that has pics and English. Highly recommend.
