It has been several years since I have been to this restaurant, but I remember the shock I felt when I first tasted their udon, toriten (chicken tempura), and chikuwa-ten (fried fish cake).
It is the number one udon shop in my opinion.

Easy to reach from the subway station and the price was reasonable. Big size of udon with fried tofu was ~4 euro and the taste was ok. One thing I would like to highlight is the service was poor or even rude in some ways. We were two people and only one person ordered as the other person wasn’t hungry. The chefs were yelling at us and asking one person to leave and wait outside in the rain as there was a strict rule of no food sharing. After negotiations and since we already paid, we managed to sit together, thankfully. And to prove that we didn’t share the food, aka the precious 4 euro udon noodles, we sat under their eyes so that they could monitor us. Btw, the wet towel on the table was from the previous customer. It would be nice if the restaurant can cleanup the table in a timely manner.

2.5 stars. Maybe my expectations were too high. Not the best but not too bad either. I recommend you not to eat the meat-radish one (the udon itself was alright and the seats were empty so I give it 2 stars). Maybe my rating would’ve been better with a different menu, so I just give it 0.5 stars extra for my hopes.

You can order on a mashine outside and there are multiple languages available. The food was done very quickly. Its self service and there was a wet towel on the table. Unfortunately it was the used one from the previous guest.
One thing needs to highligted negatively though: we were a party of two but only one person ordered since the other one was not hungry. They seem to have a strict no share police and so the other person was yelled at by the 4 Chefs and asked to wait in the rain outside. After some talking they let both of sit inside Monitoring closely.

In general the food was ok given the price of ~4 Euro for a big bowl of udon and tofu skin.
