A rare restaurant where you can enjoy eel at a reasonable price, with eel jus starting at 1,700 yen. With 7 seats at the counter, you can see the atmosphere from the outside and feel free to come in even without a reservation.
The eel was fluffy and the sauce was light and delicious. Sauce and Japanese pepper are placed at each seat, so you can add them yourself first.
The soup and pickled vegetables were also delicious.
Since it's a shop in Bunkyo Ward, it was eligible for PayPay's 20% return, so the price was even more reasonable.

As mentioned in other people's reviews, the eel had a chewy texture that kept people away from going there right after it opened.
However, I ordered the special 2,900 yen based on the word of mouth that it is now fluffy. Although it looked like it was grilled, the inside was definitely fluffy. Did the eel change or the way it was cooked change?
It's fairly thick, and for this volume, 2,900 yen feels 1,000 yen cheaper than the market price.
I was also surprised at how quickly the food was served, about 5 minutes after ordering. This is very helpful as I use it during my lunch break.
