I visited right after opening on a weekday. It is said to be one of the most popular in Nara, so make sure to make a reservation in advance before visiting.
After opening on time, I went to the counter. I ordered special eel, liver soup, and shirayaki.
First, we arrived with Shirayaki! The meat is thick and you can tell from the appearance that it's perfectly cooked!
When I actually received it... Yes! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! It has just the right amount of fat and is very delicious!
The skin is fragrant and grilled, and the grilling technique is better than I expected. All I can say is wonderful!
And the long-awaited special eel. When you open the lid, the fragrant aroma of charcoal grilling will tickle your nostrils! The eel is one and a half large! Plenty of volume!
When you eat it, the outside is crispy and the body is moist. The fat is good and the taste is hard to beat! The sauce is a little sweet, but the soy sauce stands out and goes perfectly with the eel.
The aromatic Japanese pepper also brings out the deliciousness of the eel! The slightly hard-cooked rice was delicious, and the liver soup was also a great dish.
Eel is the most popular eel in Nara, and it was even more delicious than rumored. Thank you for the meal!

Kansai-style grilled meat.
Both the skin and the flesh are ``Paris''. It feels like the body is losing some of its fat.
The sauce is a little sweet, but since it is sprinkled sparingly on the body, it feels relatively light.
The rice is covered in sauce from the beginning.
The Japanese pepper was fresh.
