Union Sand Yard Review Summary

Went for dinner and the staff was very accommodating even though I didn't have a reservation. The atmosphere is a surprising mix of intimate and very open at the same time, you may end up sharing a communal table with others if it's busy.

The main par (food and wine) was fine, but with some issues. The appetizer sampler was good, if not typical of a Japanese bistro, and the meat was decent. The pasta we ordered though was undercooked and the flavors a bit lacking. I would expect better for the price. The dessert looked nice, but was sold out when we tried to order. Overall I want to say closer to 3.5/5, but the food mistakes and value weren't really there for me.

Excellent farm-to-table style restaurant. Fresh organic vegetables, picked and cooked lovingly. Had the vegetable stroganoff set, which was delicate yet filling. Sets come with a salad, hot tea and free flow juice of the day.

I love vegetables so I enjoyed the focus on fresh produce and the food was delicious. I tried the vegetable cocktail and was pleasantly surprised but how tasty it was.

I went solo and was able to get a seat but I recommend booking ahead.

There’s no English menu but my waitress spoke good English, and was very helpful and friendly.

The interior was nice, and includes a couple of long share tables which adds to the good atmosphere.

All vegetables from contracted farmers are ingredients for many delicious dishes!! Fruits and vegetables shakes, soup, very unique curry, beautifully grilled pork or beef comes with many healthy side dishes!! Manager is a fun and hard working young man who built the vegetable garden in front of the shop for neighborhood kids to enjoy watching vegetables grow🥒🌶️🍅🍆🥬

Is not a vegetarian restaurant but the know how to treat good the greens.

All what we got it was very tasty and there food makes you feels good.
