Super local place and very popular. They have three floors and were almost full by 4:30 ( they open at 4). Found a tatami seat on 3rd floor. My Japanese friend ordered for me. You write in a paper the dishes and hand over to them. Lot of tempura and sea food dishes (no meat dishes). Real authentic izakaya experience. They don’t have an English menu. Huge beer for 700 yen. Cheap and the bill was just around 5000 after ordering 12-13 dishes soft roe, sweet shrimp, fried oysters, many types of tuna, etc with beers. Fresh soft roe (milt) was so creamy and fresh.

Super local place. I loved it! Be prepared to feel awkward if you don’t speak any Japanese. A tip—grab a seat, order beer and ask for the menu, then take your time to flip through and decide. They have a massive menu with pictures of everything and the name of the dish is written in both English and Japanese. So that’s helpful. Make sure you don’t order by just what you see in pictures here. We ordered one dish that way, and it turned out to be sweet soy grilled eel liver 😂 (so ask for and order off of the menu!)
the prawn tempura was great! So was the simmered fish and grilled yellow tail.
Going back for sure.

Delicious fish and sake with authentic Japanese style eating and ordering. They have most kinds of seafood made according to the way you like it. If you don't read japanese, they have a picture menu which you can request for.

Place is popular among locals and always has a line outside.

If you are coming in a group, suggest you go to the third floor where they have low tables instead of counters.

Definitely will be coming back
