i was resered this restaurant on tabelog a but went we arrived at nishiazabu branch ( before time around 15 minutes) the staff said they dont have a room for us. They said if i want to eat here i must wait up for an hour ... i was so upset cause it 20:00 pm. and i did not get any email for them that this branch is full or they don't have a room and they move us to another restaurant that take about 10 minute by walk that call Kenshiro. the staff at kenshio was nice the food also good ,but we not in mood any more after get kick off where we shold to be ... kinda bad experience

Phenomenal and intimate yakiniku restaurant with stellar service and mouth watering beef and uni dishes. Highly recommended.

Let me tell you about my experience at this restaurant. I was not feeling well so my husband or son ate the majority of my courses. You dine in a separate room that is very confined yet private. I asked for hot water and lemon that was served in a 4 ounce cup that was refilled 3x at a cost of $10 USD. The reason for the low service rating was that I wanted to bring home a quarter of the Sando sandwich since I didn’t eat any of the courses. I was told that was not allowed for hygienic reasons that I did not I understand since numerous restaurants in Japan and USA allow and provide takeout meals. After spending over $100 USD for each of our meals I found this unacceptable.

One of my favorite yakiniku restaurants. They change their menu monthly so it’s always exciting. What’s different from the Ushimitsu Ebisu is that Ushimitsu nishiazabu uses season fruits and vegetables and incorporates in their menu. Their katsu sandwich is a favorite of mine. It’s all private rooms and the service was great.
