Vanpicoeur Marunouchi Review Summary

A very relaxed environment. I would recommend the set menus as they are priced reasonably for central Tokyo and allows the dinner to focus on conversations than ordering. Timing of when the each item in the sets come out are impeccable as well.

Wine sommelier is excellent. He has traveled to France and can quickly pick out your style of wine. Always a treat to come here!

Meat and wine tonight! I decided to visit.
I was told that charcoal-grilled Yoshida pork takes about 40 minutes, so I ordered a 3-item platter of terrine, pate, prosciutto, and carpaccio. The charcoal-grilled Yoshida pork was delicious, especially the fatty part, which was sweet and crispy.
Next, I ordered charcoal grilled lamb and vegetables. The lamb was served with apple and carrot sauce, and along with the carpaccio's mandarin orange sauce, it was a fresh combination for me, which was good.
I bought a carafe with the intention of having a light drink, but ended up reordering it and regretting that I should have just ordered one from the beginning.
The pudding was soft, but the sauce was delicious and I enjoyed it till the end. Thank you for your meal.

Lunch was delicious.
I was surprised that there was a lunch place on the first basement floor. Even though it was crowded with various shops, I found a place where I could relax.
Lunch includes rice and soup. Dessert is also provided for women on Tuesdays and for men on Thursdays.
I was lucky that it happened to be dessert day.
Since it didn't come with vegetables, I opted for a roast beef salad and it was delicious. It was exactly what I wanted to eat.
This is a restaurant with counter seats and table seats. I guess the peak time ends at 1pm.
It was nice to be able to sit and wait.
