VAPEUR, located in Tokyo vibrant Ginza district, offers an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends traditional French cuisine with modern flair.
The restaurant's name, meaning steam in French, reflects its signature cooking method, which preserves the natural flavors and nutrients of fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables.

The establishment features a cozy interior with a clean and charming ambiance, complemented by a well-designed terrace area.
The dining space is thoughtfully divided, with a counter section dedicated to the restaurant and a separate bar area just meters away, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for all guests.
Notably, the restaurant operates on a cashless payment system, so it's advisable to have your card handy guys.

Additionally, smoking is permitted only outside, maintaining a comfortable environment for non-smokers.

The wine selection is impressive, featuring a variety of options that pair wonderfully with the dishes.
The knowledgeable staff are attentive and provide excellent service, enhancing the overall dining experience. Given its popularity, especially during peak hours, making a reservation is recommended to secure your spot. The restaurant is open until late, making it a perfect choice for both dinner and late-night gatherings.

In summary, VAPEUR offers a good fusion of traditional and contemporary French cuisine in a welcoming setting.
I recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

Great place with outdoor standing tables. Very busy especially during Friday, drinks a little expensive but has a nice variety of snacks and food. Can be disruptive with the number of 'nanpaing' on the streets but interesting to watch. Toilets are pretty limited though given the size of the establishment, could do with more.

If you know your wines a little, and are willing to pay the premium on drinking them here, you'll love Vapeur.

Great little French style Bistro/Bar close to the Hotel Dai-ichi with a good selection of good value small tasty dishes, tapas style. Good atmosphere and very popular. My regular hang-out when in Tokyo on business and staying at the Dai-ichi.

A bit more open than the average hole-in-the-ground smoke-bomb bar around Tokyo. Pretty expensive in general but it's worth it for the fresh air and elbow room. Seems to have a fair few foreigners dropping in. It's pay-as-you-order so have your wallet ready.
