📍Teppanyaki Sazan
Gotanda's hidden gem Teppanyaki Sazan is stylish and friendly♪
[Nearest station]
JR Gotanda Station West Exit → 6 minutes walk
Teppanyaki Sazan is located a little away from the hustle and bustle of Gotanda Station, on the first floor of a 39-year-old apartment complex with distinctive orange walls.
Although the apartment building has a historical feel to it, once you enter the store you are transported to a different world.
The overall design is modern with black as the main color, giving it a very stylish atmosphere.
I was surprised to find such a hidden gem in Gotanda.
I feel like this place can be used for a variety of occasions such as celebrations, dates, or even dinners, so I can recommend it to others!
Today I was there for lunch, but since there is basically no sunlight, you can probably enjoy your meal in a mature atmosphere with subdued lighting just like dinner.
It's not that big, but there are 8 counter seats and 12 table seats.
The table seats are separated by curtains, so you don't have to be sensitive to the conversations around you.
The best part of Teppanyaki is the counter!
It's the best seat as you can watch the flambée right in front of you ^ ^
[Today's order] *All prices include tax
Special lunch course ¥6,500-
◉Snow crab salad ~Homemade crab miso dressing~
▶︎▶︎▶︎A simple-looking salad with crab fillets and flying fish on top of fresh leaves.
What makes it so delicious is that the homemade crab miso dressing is so rich that the crab flavor explodes the moment you put it in your mouth.
I wish I had this dressing at home lol
◉Recommended pottery
▶︎▶︎▶︎Today's grilled dish is a ``medium-fatty steak'' that looks like tofu.
Two pieces of medium-sized fatty tuna cut into dice, seasoned with salt and pepper, and topped with scallions.
Just the right texture, not too hard...
Ah, the taste of bliss.
◉Live abalone
▶︎▶︎▶︎Eating abalone for the first time in a while.
The texture is chewy yet soft, and you can feel the freshness of the seafood and the craftsmanship in every bite. In particular, the sight of the abalone being grilled as if it were dancing on the iron plate is visually pleasing! As the finishing touch is sprinkled with yuzu, the citrus aroma goes well with the abalone.
``Abalone liver'' was also deliciously grilled on an iron plate and served together, which was strangely delicious without any taste or smell.
◉Domestic beef sirloin steak 100g
▶︎▶︎▶︎The sirloin I was waiting for!
My appetite was already at its peak as I was looking at the red meat right in front of me from the counter.
The sirloin is grilled medium-rare, leaving lean meat, and has a concentrated flavor. The finishing touch, the flambe fire, is also one of the highlights⭐︎
You can eat it with salt and wasabi, or with onion and soy sauce with quail yolk, enjoy it as you like!
I poured a generous amount of the sauce directly onto the bean sprouts and stuffed my mouth with the meat along with the bean sprouts.
◉White rice
~Changes to garlic will be accepted for an additional 500 yen~
▶︎▶︎▶︎Here, I changed to garlic rice without hesitation without worrying about the price.
The garlic rice had a well-defined punch and was delicious to my taste.
◉Miso soup
▶︎▶︎▶︎The flavor and texture of the mito crab miso soup, which has the thickness of ``Aosa'', is exquisite! Miso soup with meat and garlic rice is the best combination♪
◉Dessert
▶︎▶︎▶︎Yuzu sorbet, mango, berries.
Yuzu sorbet is the best way to end your meal as it gives you a refreshing and refreshing feeling!
◉Cafe (coffee or corn tea)
◉Grape juice made at the winery ¥1,200-
I think if this were a hotel teppanyaki, it would be of such high quality that it would easily cost over 10,000 yen. I'm really happy to be able to enjoy it at this price ⭐︎
Not only is the food delicious, but the staff at Teppanyaki Sazan are all so friendly that you can't help but have a lively conversation with them.
I found a restaurant that will definitely make you want to come back again ^ ^
The name “Sazan” means whether you like Southern All Stars or not, lol.
Thank you for the meal!
